Apple iPod Video Corruption :/ (HALP ME) - GeeksNetwork

I have an ipod video and i love it.
But it doesn't work anymore, whenever i try to turn it on a default screen comes up that has a picture of an ipod with X's for eyes and it says something like: connect to computer and restore.
Which i've done many times. and it's still messed up :/

anyone know anything to halp fix it?

Hmm... I'm not really familiar with iPods lower than iTouches.. But when you connect , isn't there a function to restore everything back to factory defaults?[From firmware to settings]

The damage might be internally/cosmeticlly or both..

hmmm boot it up in recovery mode and restore it it to do that just hold the center button and menu button and itunes will ask u to restore it once its detected...
